Child Protection

CHILD PROTECTION

At Lincoln Academy, we take our responsibility for the well-being and protection of children seriously. We are dedicated to upholding child protection practices that align with legal requirements, government guidelines, and the Lincoln Academy Board of Trustees’ standards. Our policy is rooted in international law, U.S. legislation, and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, a treaty Kenya has endorsed.

When you enroll your child at Lincoln Academy, you commit to collaborating closely with the school and adhering to the policies set forth by the Lincoln Academy Board of Trustees. We want to emphasize that everyone at Lincoln Academy, from the Board and administration to faculty and staff, highly values our partnership in ensuring the safety and well-being of your children.

Through this partnership, we aim to maintain a consistent and secure environment for our students. It is crucial that our students are well-informed about their rights and responsibilities, both to themselves and to one another. Our comprehensive Lincoln Academy Policy Manual is accessible both in print, located in the Learning Commons, and as an electronic document in Schoology for your convenience. Your cooperation and collaboration are essential in creating a nurturing and protected environment for all our students.
